A short documentary made in collaboration with the Media Mobilizing Project and the Philadelphia branch of Jobs With Justice. Its purpose was to welcome the new Art Director and CEO of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and to promote better wages, benefits and official recognition for the Philadelphia Security Officers Union (PSOU).
In a secret ballot election held on the weekend of 10/09/09, security guards at the Philadelphia Museum of Art voted 68-53 to join the PSOU, capping a two-year unionization fight. To learn more, visit phillyjwj.org
