wish you were here

this was a piece that was submitted and shown in the Fun-A-Day gallery show put on by ArtClash in San Francisco in Feb 2009. It is meant to be projected, flickering inconsistently against a lit wall, mimicking the sleepy, blinky eyes of waking up. The submission requirements were that we created a consistent project for 31 days: Jan 1 - Jan 31, 2009. In my obsession with postcards, I wanted to play with the "wish you were here" theme. This piece was made specifically for an unnamed lover.
