Cissy (Chuti Tiu, "The Internship," "Weeds," "Rampart"), a career woman, struggles to find happiness living in a fishbowl, trapped in a sexless marriage to an unemployed architect. Complicating matters are her culturally traditional Asian parents, economic pressures, and her religious beliefs. Forced to be the perfect wife and future mother, Cissy rebels, and her carefully constructed world begins to unravel.
First-time director, actor Oscar Torre ("Hangover 3," "Counterpunch," "Ladron Que Roba a Ladron"), writer Chuti Tiu, and producer Rebecca Hu ("1,001 Ways to Enjoy the Missionary Position," "I Heart Hollywood") compile a multicultural cast to give an intimate and personal narrative about a woman struggling to find happiness while discovering who she really wants to be... a story that shows no matter what your family, religion, or society tells you, the most important truth comes from yourself.
