Reginald Dawson, director for the Circle of Re-Entry (CFRO) program at UMADAOP Cincinnati, discusses the unique roll UMADAOP is playing in reducing recidivism through two of its programs. CFRO is a relapse prevention support project designed for males who are returning to the community after being incarcerated. The project serves drug abusers or offenders who were traffickers prior to incarceration. The B.E.S.T. program “Building Effective Solutions Together” (B.E.S.T.) works with families to empower them in changing necessary skills and resources to aid their sons and daughters leaving Department of Youth Services (DYS) facilities in Ohio.
