The Entanglement team hit the Vancouver streets this easter to engage the public on the issue of single-use plastic waste. Two dancers, dressed in the Entanglement costumes interacted with the public while volunteers walked along the streets littering plastic bottles.
The event served to bring attention to our dependence on single-use plastics, as well as to promote the Entanglement fundraising event this saturday.
Entanglement is a photographic series that explores the relationship between human beings and waste plastics. The series features model dressed in costumes made of recovered waste. Local image-maker Michael J.P. Hall is raising funds to shoot the series and exhibit the work at Science World.
