David Hilmers graduated from Cornell College in 1972, went into the Marines, and became an astronaut. He flew on four space shuttle missions, and after retiring became a physician. He's an assistant professor at Baylor University, a doctor, and works on global health. He visited Cornell College and spoke about his experiences and how he followed his lifelong dream of becoming a physician.
