In this sermon, Jimmy Seibert explains the story of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem from Matthew 21.1-10. As Jesus entered on a donkey, fulfilling the Old Testament prophecy from Zechariah 9.9, He exemplified His humility and His character as a servant. The crowd's response to Jesus' entry was wholehearted worship, because they knew He would save them.
Jesus is worthy of worship from our hearts because He is the king and savior. If we sit back and act like we have it all together, we miss out on giving Glory to God. It was only the Pharisees who weren't willing to worship Jesus. In the end, it doesn't matter if we have to humble ourselves. Jesus is worthy of worship no matter what.
