This video was mostly inspired by the Paul Thomas Anderson's utterly brilliant film "Magnolia" (1999) Edgar G. Ulmer's mystery film-noir "Detour" (1945) and Leftfield's "Swords" music video. Furthering the idea, the basis of this video is the intimate atmosphere, connected people and the main theme of the "Detour" song which fits perfectly into this universe of interconnected lives. Water that was used for the rain is representing one strong emotional effect which was primarily the focus of this video, this kind of emotion in an urban environment gives the whole video deeper personal experience.
