Interrupting Interface is a documentary that takes a look into the creation and performance of a group of dancers at the University of California, Irvine led by choreographer Chad Michael Hall called INTERFACE. INTERFACE is a dance ensemble and also the title of an "interactive digital dance theatre" performance.

"Through digital technology, we are redefining what it means to make personal connections, to communicate with each other and with the world around us. We are all like Alice, tumbling down a digital rabbit hole, lost in a virtual wonderland of social media, telepresence, and internet overload. We are addicts, and our devices provide our fix. We cling to them - we worship our screens - the cursor dictates a new sense of time. Our reality has become a spacio-temporal visceral/virtual hybrid. Are we expanding our sense of identity or losing it? Are we losing our humanity or simply redefining it? Is this really what we want? Have any of us stopped what we're doing long enough to think about it?" -Chad Michael Hall
