Stanford 2002 APDA Round 4
This is one of the Stanford University 2002 American Parliamentary Debate Association (APDA) tournament's fourth rounds, between Yale CL and the Princeton/Brandeis hybrid (a.k.a. "Fresno/Albuquerque").
As Government, Yale CL (Matt Longo & Jay Cox) asked the Opposition who they thought should be the Person of the Century, as the most influential person in the 20th century, without regard to political ramification or popularity of the choice. They then agreed to defend their choice against Opposition's choice.
Princeton/Brandeis (Emily Garin & Storey Clayton), on Opposition, chose Joseph Stalin as their Person of the Century. Yale then chose Vladimir Lenin.
Opposition won the round.
