NFDC's production of Macbeth opens in 18 days. And so, on a rainy Sunday afternoon, we assembled the fighters of our cast for a final extended "fight call" with Shelley, our fight choreographer. This also marked the introduction of "real" weapons for a number of our actors, replacing wooden sticks with stage-combat worthy smallswords and bayonets. (If you notice the occasional toy rifle or umbrella, rest assured that those will be replaced soon enough as well.)

This is the first of who knows how many Director's Vlog entries I will do. Perhaps if I learn a lesson or two from this first entry, the next will feature far less of my chin.
