BeachHunter goes snorkeling in Dry Tortugas National Park! In May of 2009 I took the Yankee Freedom II high speed catamaran to Garden Key in the Dry Tortugas, a group of low islands 70 miles west of Key West in the Gulf of Mexico.

I snorkeled on the grass flats and next to the low wall that protects Fort Jefferson from the sea. The water was clear and beautiful and I filmed a barracuda and numerous tropical fish and corals.
