Two communities separated by 13,411 km have an incredible story to share...
On August 15th, thousands of Vancouverites came to 4th Avenue in Kitsilano to check out Hippie Daze. The entire street was closed to car traffic and open to fun. imagine1day was there with “Collective Colour Chaos” a community art project in which over 250 people armed with paint brushes participated in celebration of community and contribution.
This one of a kind painting is now up for auction. 100% of the winning bid will help fund the construction of a new primary school in the community of Atsemba, Ethiopia where children currently attend school under a tree. Follow the link below to learn more and to see the finished piece. Place your bid at bid@imagine1day.org by September 15th. Please include the value of your bid, your full name and a phone number.
