I'm awaiting its release in the uk...1 st feb....from what I have seen so far it seems like the ultimate user content derived feature film...creating an aesthetic of pov hand held real / false realism, creating digital effects work in static or laterally panning camera moves, has been around for ages, motion tracking really ups the realism, begging the question what is real anymore......? or what is passed off as real, the lines between our notions of what we think of as documentary and what could in fact be fiction, from now on get very blurred. For this reason I think this marks quite a political step in film production and analysis ......god this is boring....I have no wine with which to dull my tedious observation on a film I haven't even bloody seen yet!
