On a daily basis, industry turns non-renewable energy into waste heat that is lost in the atmosphere. Seebeck has finished initial planning and bench development of a technology that takes waste heat and converts it to electricity that can be used to power machinery etc. In fact, the heat generated by a machine can be used to power it, so this process can dramatically reduce power consumption and help reduce the depletion of non-renewable energy.
