Hollufgaard is a manor house in the southern part of Odense, Denmark (not far from where I live).

The building is owned by a private company but part of the facilities are used as a centre for sculpture and painting and has guest studios. The main building (red brick) was finished in 1577 and many buildings have been added later.

There is a big park on the premises where you can have a look at different sculptures. It's a popular place for a Sunday walk.

This was shot with a Canon HG10 at 25fps (25p PAL) in program mode (HXP setting). I did nothing to the footage in PP, simply because I don't know how to - yet :) I used the supplied software that came with the camera.

The video was exported as DivX format at 5000kbps (1280x720).

I used a tripod to begin with (I guess, I should have used it all the time - shaking images look crappy) :)

Music: Tristeza - 'Cinematography' :D

Let me know what you think...

Unbelievable! But I guess it helps that you live in a place that beautiful. Definitely liked the tripod shots. I learned that lesson when I was in Europe. Next trip I'm planning is Scandinavia with a nice, long stop in Denmark.

    I have been looking at

    'Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Edition'
    'Pinnacle Studio 11 Ultimate'

I'm used to working with Photoshop CS3, so maybe Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 would be something I could learn too.

I work on a Windows Vista machine, by the way...

Beautiful park and buildings - enjoyed the video.
    Great choice of music too.
Soon I shall overcome my resistance to buying a tripod....

Hi, Rico, this is really great stuff, and using the tripod is a clever idea. For software you could look at Ebay.uk, this is a great place to buy.
