On Monday, August 31, 2009, Mr. Kevin Harris was terminated as Director of the P.S. 18 United Activities Unlimited Beacon (UAU) program.

Mr.Harris has provided years of dedication, supervision and guidance to our children and the West Brighton Community. We the community have united in support of Mr. Harris being re-instated as director of the program.

We are asking the entire community to join together to show a united front as we gather at the UAU headquarters to let our voices be heard.

Please show your support by meeting with us on Thursday, September 3, 2009 @ P.S. 18 @ 11: am sharp.

We will proceed to meet at the UAU Headquarters at 855 Forest Avenue by 12:00pm.

Mr. Harris needs the support of each and every person in the community. We must show support for the man who our children have looked up to as a role model for over 19 years. A man who has been instrumental by his actions in showing our children the values of family, respect for one another and community. Please join us. Thank you.
