It was fantastic! How could such a movie not have been screened or distributed for so many years?! They should ask some of the people in power today their opinion! I bet that would be interesting..!
I just wanted to say in response to some of the opinions in the movie, this rebellion wasn't necessarily in defense of a classmate that had misbehaved, it was against being forced to rat. If I were one of these children I not only wouldn't have told on my classmate, I wouldn't have left the room either! but still, those kids did what they thought was right and that's the only thing that matters: when the time comes, will you do the right thing?

خیلی جالب بود،بخصوص که اینروزها خیلی شبیه به روزهای اول انقلاب 57 هست.جالبتر اینکه با گذشت 30 سال از ساخته شدن این فیلم ،یادآوری آرمانهایی که مردم براش انقلاب کردن وبخاطرش خون دادند و جنگیدن ،آدم رو سخت به فکر فرو می بره که چی می خواستیم و چی شد! امیدوارم تغییرات بعدی که اتفاق می افته به این سرنوشت دچار نشه و اوضاع همه بهتر بشه . به امید آگاهی برای ملت ایران و سربلندی در عرصه جهان و پیروزی حق بر باطل و نابودی ظلم

An excellent analysis of social/educational issues which transcends across cultures, through a seemingly simple classroom situation .....Ironically, specially an excellent point made and objection expressed by one of the ammameh beh sarha in regard to why would the students go back and wait by the classroom door! He added, since the student objected to the teacher's (authority figure) action, then they should go beyond their current objection and take more drastic actions such as not showing up by the classroom just to wait outside and in turn be victimized by the abusive leadership -- this is exactly what Iranians in Iran need to do in reaction to the current filthy islamic regime. Thanks to all involved for creating such a smart film.
