This site-specific installation functions as a visual metaphor of the bar, consisting of two parts: the bar, and it's culture (patrons).

Part One:
A catalog/inventory of all the elements from the bar to be displayed in the front window, bringing the bar outside.

Part Two: An interactive light installation in the window. A microphone will be discreetly placed in the bar (stage area) and will correspond to a computer program that will output different colors based on the average volume of the sound in the bar. The colors will be projected into the window behind the catalog of bar objects.

The catalog represents the bar, and the interactive light/sound represent the people in the bar.

Over the course of the night, the color of the light will change as the bar becomes more or less vibrant. Thus you will be able to gage the activity inside the bar from the street.
