The project prompt was to develop a time-based piece that critically explores an object or a site as a stand in for yourself. For my piece, I have decided to use my "watch" as the metonymic object. Just by drawing the relationship in the very beginning to reveal who the person wearing the watch is, the audience is now able to make the connection of the "watch" as a stand in for me for the rest of the piece even though my face was never shown again. And with the fast, rhythmic pace of this piece, I hope to achieve the representation of the part of my personality that's constantly looking to fill up every second of my time with different activities.

Special thanks to Connie Chung :)
