E' passato tanto tempo, 2 anni e mezzo circa, da quando un gruppo dell'AIAS di Pistoia chiamato "Le Formiche" mi ha coinvolto in questo progetto: realizare un film da una sceneggiatura originale frutto del lavoro di due anni. I ragazzi dell'AIAS di Pistoia mi si sono presentati con una sceneggiatura di 40 pagine, una fiction tra giallo e sci-fi, che vede un cane di uno scienziato trasformarsi per errore in essere umano, ed iniziare il difficile processo di integrazione in società.

La sorpresa fu che la storia di "Guarda, Sei Tu!" è molto ben articolata ed era già pronta per essere girata, senza bisogno di ritocchi alcuni. Così in un mese e mezzo di riprese, seguendo un rigido calendario, supportato da una produzione che ha organizzato tutto nei minimi dettagli (a tal proposito non posso dimenticare i nomi di chi ha organizzato il successo di tutto questo, i cui nomi sono degli operatori Tommaso Damato e Concetta Tiscia), in un mese e mezzo dicevo, le riprese sono state portate a termine ed è iniziato il lavoro di montaggio.

Alla fine il mediometraggio è stato presentato alla città di fronte al sindaco e alle autorità in una serata organizzata dal presidente dell'AIAS di Pistoia, Luigi Bardelli. Alla prima al Cinema Verdi di Pistoia il 18 Dicembre 2006 la sala era piena e la proiezione sul grande schermo ha ricevuto il plauso che tutti i ragazzi disabili che hanno lavorato si meritavano.

Long time has passed, about 2 and half years, since a group of disabled people from AIAS Pistoia, called "The Ants" got me involved in this project: to realize a movie from an original script, written by them in two years. The poeple at AIAS in Pistoia came to me with a 40 pages draft, kind of sci-fi, featuring a scientist's dog changing, by mistake, into a man, starting the difficult process of integration into society.

Surprisingly, the storyline of "Look, It's You!" was very well articuled and ready to be shot, with no changes. So in a full 45 days session, following a strict calendar, supported by a production that oganized every little detail (for this reason I can't forget the names of the people who made all this a successful experience, TOMMASO DAMATO and CONCETTA TISCIA), so in one and half month we completed the shooting and we started editing.

At the end the 39 minutes long film has been presented to the city in front of the major and other authorities in an event organized by the President of the Association AIAS Pistoia, LUIGI BARDELLI. Premiering at Cinema Verdi in Pistoia, the 18th of December 2006, the hall was full and people saluted the projection on the big screen as a success, with major joy from the disabled people who worked.
