This film documents the conservation and restoration work carried out by the Byzantine Institute at Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey. It shows Thomas Whittemore and the fieldworkers cleaning and restoring the north tympanum lunette mosaics of Saint John Chrysostom and Saint Ignatius Theophoros.
