i was there for this! It was awesome when they passed the artwork over to the huge pile of art and hoisted it to the top...the one thing i must say was the biggest surprise, was when they TORCHED the entire thing...!? What gives? I mean, there was this beautiful symbol of community and spirit from that Great Went weekend - and then they literally lit the 100' spire on fire! Not only was it toxic, it was like 'what the f#$K'? kinda was a weird ending to a blissful weekend...

Total Mind f**k ending... Still my favorite of all the festivals though.

One of the reasons I still see Phish after 14 years is their ability to always do something different or unexpected... always searching for a new way to entertain. For better or for worse, I'll always respect their desire to create a new experience.
