Parents want their kids to do well in school and enjoy a successful learning experience and want to make the best education decisions for their child. From choosing the best K-12 school or giving guidance about academic and career choices to knowing when to get involved or give enough space, how do parents get the information they need to navigate the options? How can parents work with teachers, schools and administrators? Ultimately, how can parents best make education decisions "with" their kids?
Monica Frank, M.A., Department Head of Student Services, Burnaby School District and Dan Laitsch, Ph.D., Education Assistant Professor and Director of the Centre for the Study of Educational Leadership and Policy, SFU
