I've shot a couple of things recently with the 5D Mark II and really enjoyed the freedom of a light weight camera. How are you finding it? Looks like you have mastered it.
Look forward to seeing some more.
Best wishes,
Sy
5D is great but I am leaving a pile of stuff on the editing floor. Focus is tough without a monitor and I wish it had a flip out screen. Plus the whole 30p pain.
Can't complain though, it def takes great shots. I'm totally stoked that I can get my old pre ai nikon lenses on the front.
The fact it looks like a stills camera is also a benefit for me, people respond to it well and it's already got me out of trouble with the permit police once.
It's so small and light that I've got it working on a mini crane that's been gathering dust for years, so all good.

ciao
K,
You wanna take up the white gauntlet?
You going to be passing through London any time?
You cinematography, screen direction and edit are wonderful. Although, I'm not so crazy about the highlights with lost detail. It tends to make the scene more video like and less like film. Loss of detail on film is so much prettier than on video, although many like Bob Primes will disagree with me.
Regardless you work is beautiful.
Steve
Thanks very much for your comment. I hear you on the highlights, partly me overexposing and partly over eager use of Magic Bullet. Appreciate the advice, will bear it in mind.
My z-finder is on the way. I can't wait.

The DOF on the camera is great, due to it's huge full frame stills sensor. I an adaptor off ebay and stuck on my ebay nikon 50mm f1.4 - that gave a really shallow depth. I'm pretty inept at after effects so all done with Final Cut.
Best,
Olver
great job man
Thanks, yeah generally happy with the camera, I am using it pretty much for tripod and steady shots. No real issues yet... but haven't tried any stuff under strobe lights.
Will let u know.

Great work, always enjoy your seeing things...

I graded with Magic Bullet Looks - a great tool, although I'm still finding my way around it.

Thanks for the inspiration!
5D in the amazon sounds good - I look forward to it.
Best, Oliver.
This is actually shot with the Canon 5D mark2 DSLR camera.
I do also shoot with the Letus Extreme DOF adaptor... this for example...
