Julie + Trent Trash the Dress

Julie and Trent were the winners of our fantastic collaborative Trash the Dress giveaway with Carrie Wildes Photography, Confetti Events & Weddings,HD Beauty Design by Pamela, Events in Bloom, and A Hair Affair!

If you have been following the blog you know that Julie submitted the winning story idea "Can't Always Hit 'em Straight." Trent, an avid golfer, wanted their wedding on a golf course, Julie wanted the big dream wedding. Trent did the right thing and gave Julie her dream wedding. During their 1st toast as husband and wife, they used the glasses Julie's grandmother gave them. As they picked up the glasses filled with champagne, Julie's stem broke and the champagne spilled all over her dress. Thanks to that stain, she decided that Trashing her already stained dress would be a wonderful way to fulfill Trent's golf course wedding dream, at least a little bit.

Julie and Trent really helped make this a unique event and a fun time for all of us. Trent got all dressed up in an old style golf outfit that really went with our vintage themed Super 8mm film. Julie was really into the spirit of the Trashing and had no reservations about any of the crazy ideas we had!
