Umugongo House is a transitional shelter for boys aged between 5 and 15 who are orphaned, neglected, or who live on the streets in Kigali, Rwanda.
The house provides education, medical services and a supportive environment.
There are plans to build on a larger site so that the project can reach more young people and there will be a place to grow food and make the centre more self sustainable.
This short film gives a glimpse into the life of one of the boys who came to live there.
