This weekend while we were visiting my mom, she gave us a box of secondhand baby stuff to pick through. Since we have a tiny home AND a toy store in the family, I quickly blew off all the secondhand toys ... but Andreas liked this one fabricky toy thing that is meant to clip onto a crib or a car seat with all these dangling baby distraction items on it, so we took it.

It was kind of gross and crusty, so despite the tag saying "DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER," I threw it in the washer on delicate, and then they dryer on low heat. When I opened to the dryer to fetch the thing, there was singing.

Evidently, one of the dangling baby distraction thingers had a little pressure-sensitive electronic music player that whined an irritating tune ... that, thanks to having gone through the washer and dryer now wouldn't turn off.

This was our solution.
