Mr. Tastees and Kid Static hosted the "Pop Up Jam Out of the Van" The
artists that performed at the event were chosen from the visual mix tape
I created and casted.

The show was put together for virtually free. The decorations, all made
from cardboard and wheat paste, the stage borrowed, the performers
and crew did it for the love of our community.

The location for the pop up jam was chosen the day before —around the
corner from my studio space, which is located in the industrial corridor of
Chicago. With the odds against us: industrial environment, smelly fish
market, and a garbage dump near by, and the fact that the location was
announced the night before—this event was a triumph. We packed the
streets and got down to the beats.
