After a quick start to the race high in the RPMs in 3rd gear a Miata from the ITA class who started behind us decided it would be fun to jump into the middle of our fight through turn 1. I was battling John for most of the race as the rest of the pack slowly pulled away from us. I had him coming out of 10 almost every lap but we did over/under at turn 1 again and again before I learned how to make it stick. We caught up to Alex and had some great door to door racing starting at 13:30 until I lost 3rd gear while trying to pass an IT7 while going on in the carousel... It was JUST staring to get good!
