This is really well made. Is the sound just a bit off though?

most of the online stuff I've posted on video servers (youtube, myspace, etc..) the sound is always off a tad with the sites compression, don't know how this site works, but it also makes it choppy :/ eh well

    but thanks for the comment!

Nice job. Had a bit of that Planet Terror trailer look, which fit. Lots of reasons to like that vid! But your camera work is definitely one of them.

  • Beautiful work Greg!!
    Really inspiring.
How do you get the 2.35:1 AR??

I meant to ask, what did you shoot this on?
  •
  • greg ephraim plus 2 years ago
Javier, got the 2:35 by just cropping it.
And Keith, it was shot in HDV on the Sony HVR-V1U
  •
  • I got it Greg. Thanks
The wide shot whith the girl and the robot dancing is awesome!

Great work, greg. Shot / graded very well. The content helps too! I know you mentioned you shout on the V1U, but what 35adapter did you use? I'm assuming you used one if that was your rig in the video. Looked like an sgpro non-flip.

how did you crop out the black bars?
  •
  • greg ephraim plus 1 year ago
the crop was made when compressed in compressor, you can manually crop it or use the preset to whatever aspect ratio you shot for

very nice. Glad to see the V1U in use. Most go for that Canon stuff(not bad either). Would like to see the before shots too, for comparison.

Always amazing. Always an inspiration. How you made amazing vids on the V1 made it bigger and went red I don't know...but damn, just knowing you can pull off such great shots and quality after cc gives me a lot to fight for with this cam and the redrock. Again, always an inspiration.
