After the administration has banned music from school, a misfit group of students, under the tutelage of their philosophy teacher, join together to bring music to the dystopian society of the not-so-distant future.
The film was designed to raise money for VH1's Save the Music Project as part of the Service aspect of our CAS Group Project.
The entire project was filmed using the Canon T3i with a Canon 18-55 Kit Lens as well as a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8. Audio comes both from the stock audio off the camera, as well as a Rode NTG-1 with Zoom H4n.
The story was written by Kara Russell, Michelle Reissig, and James Postlewait. Costumes were coordinated as well as filming sessions planned by Michelle Reissig. The project was directed, filmed, edited, as well as produced by James Postlewait. Original songs were composed and arranged by George González. Additional music for the film was selected by George González. All musical recordings were done by James Postlewait.
Music used within the project is for the sole purpose of entertainment without the intention of profiting of the music of others.
