This is an example of a digital video as an educational tool that shows the life cycle assessment of plastic, from how it originates, to its use, disposal and return to the natural environment. The hope is for individuals to realize the length that it takes to create the object and how it ultimately serves a one time purpose. One of principles of Ecological Design states that all materials must ultimately return back to the nutrient pool from which it originated.
