Another trip to a theme park by coastertouring.com this time it's Belantis in Eastern Germany.

Belantis is a 7 year old family owned park that is built on the site of old coal mines. Subsequently the parks mascot is a mole. The park is built around a large man made lake. If you were to view the park from the air you would see it partially forms a map of the World. So far you can see parts of Europe, Africa and the USA.

Among the attractions on offer is Gotterflug the first spin n spew from Gerstlauer, Drachonrift a Gerstlauer Bobsled and Segway tours fo the park.

It's a wonderful family park with a fantastic atmosphere and lots of things to do for kids everywhere you look.
