A Rhythm Journey!
ARTreach was awarded a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts to help bring performing artist Dan Egger-Belandria from Austin, Texas to the Youth Activities Center in Richmond/Rosenberg. Dan Egger Belandria is a professional performing artist listed on the TCA roster. His workshop is titled “Rhythm in Action” and introduces percussion instruments and drumming styles as an effective tool for expressing emotions, communicating and managing stress. Dan is able to demonstrate through music the impact of a person’s choice to take action or take inaction to make good things happen. This is a motivational presentation that will spark enthusiasm and promote a healthier group dynamic.
