CKM&A performs at Dance Place in a shared program with Brooklyn based skybetter & associates. The concert includes repertory selections by both companies and a special reprisal of the Kennedy Center commissioned work Eveningland performed by dancers from both companies.

If you missed the recent world premiere of Morgan's meditation on the nature of memory, "Halcyon", don't miss this concert. "Halcyon" has an original score by composer Ignacio Alcover and sculptures by artist Bryan Sullivan. The program will also include Morgan's piece "Selling Out" (2011), set to an original score by Monstah Black and Skybetter's "The Personal" and "Near Abroad".

"Eveningland" was commissioned by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of the Performing Arts for Everyone and the Millennium Stage, in partnership with Skidmore College, CityDance and Christopher K. Morgan and Artists, as well choreographic contributions by Kristen Arnold, Kile Hotchkiss, Jordan Isadore and Barbi Powers.
