Peter Greig is a Director of Photography for cinema, TV, web and commercials. He is well known for his versatile approach to creating high quality productions, specialising primarily in motion & stills photography for both the arts and outdoor adventure.
His client list includes Commonwealth Bank, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Dance Company, Nike, National Geographic, Destination NSW, Griffin Theatre Company, Garmin and Canon – the later of which own a specially commissioned collection of Peter’s panoramic images, on permanent display in both of their Sydney showrooms.
Previously, Peter has been invited to lecture and run workshops at Sydney's PowerHouse Museum, as well as being awarded a 12-month residency commissioned by Australia Council for the Arts. His work has since become the subject of case studies and educational programs in the Australian arts sector.
Last year, Peter was the curator of VIVID Sydney's new "Arts Precinct Light Walk" - an international arts festival drawing over 500,000 visitors. That same year, Peter was commissioned by the Sydney Opera House to hold a solo photography and film exhibition in the venue.
