Congenital Hyperinsulinism (CHI) is a very complex medical condition that presents with severe hypoglycaemia (low blood glucose) in the neonatal, infancy and childhood period. It is characterised by inappropriate and unregulated insulin secretion from the beta-cells of the pancreas.
