Schools vary as to how they may want to introduce an assembly. It is actually best to get agreement on having a Brief introduction by the principal AFTER showing this 3 minute segment. It sets the tone well, played immediately after the last group of students get to their seats in the auditorium. Then have a quick introduction - leading quickly into describing "What a model is..." and the rules for getting into the game with the popcorn and chocolate. The 1-Hour timing for the assembly will be thrown off unless the principal's intro is brief.
As students file into the auditorium, it helps to have lights dimmed and to have a slideshow of travel imagery cycling on screen.

The POWER of the program can be conceptualized by an adult mind viewing this alone, but the program is motivational when reserved for audiences as described above. It is in such a setting, where a whole peer group/ grade group sees the entirety, including the classroom activity, within one day, that the GROUP DYNAMIC adds impact, anchoring best the lessons intended.
