Like all major religions, Scientology really needs a "Messiah" such as Jesus Christ, Mohammed, etc and I believe that, if anything, "Anonymous" will be that Messiah for Scientology - fighting against the "pyramid scheme" like scheme in regards to paying 10% of their income to join and, paying them to get people to join.
My own view is that, if you have a belief in a God, worship Him/Her however you wish but, don't try and force people to see things that they can't see.
However I will watch the Anonymous For two resons, One I find it really funny when people try to disscredit Religon Since it is impossible to do that, When it comes to faith Nothing Short of the Hand Of God(Or God's) Can change Or destroy ones faith.
Two It's gonna be fun to watch And to see how both sides react!
That will give us a true Vision Of Anonymous & Scientology.
Also, the reward for Anonymous, dead or alive, is so small and trivial compared to the money Scientology generates for it's leader in the pyramid scheme.
It'll be amusing to watch the organization try and deal with the "rogue[s]" since Scientology's beliefs will be made public and if there is fraud going on, it will be exposed! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
It doesn't really mean that *they* helped you so much but, made you think about something else instead.
Anon, short for anonymous, does not oppose the religious beliefs, or the church itself. Only the criminal activities, the harassment and suing of critics, the disconnection policy that destroys families, the fees for something that should be free and is instead used for self-enrichment and power (they need all the private detectives and lawyers for us critics, ex-members, etc).
There are in fact religious groups that are a split off scientology, these practice the exact same thing, just not the harmful part of it, and do not charge money for anything. We recognize them as a religion. But Scientology as it is today, is simply a dangerous cult. It's very hard, and sometimes even impossible to get out of, so i've been told by an ex member first-hand
The main point that some people that are into other religions are sometimes not getting is that scientology is not a religion, it's a cult that poses as a religion.
