The Rip Curl Raglan Pro was held in pumping Ruapuke waves. Tairua surfer Sean Peggs came away with the best 23rd birthday present he could have hoped for, claiming the Rip Curl Pro title. The Open Women's was won by Wini Paul (Sandy Bay) the Under 20 Winner, Dune Kennings (Whmata) and Grom Search titles were won by Elliot Paerata Reid (Piha) and Jasmine Smith (Gis). Rip Curl also brought over one of the best cutbacks in the world, Taylor Knox.
