The Basic Teaser
This the first teaser I made for the new Burton Film THE B. It is shot on a wide variety of cameras including RED, Canon 5D Mark II, Panasonic HVX200 with redrock adapter and a Sony CineAlta HDC-1500 used in the cineflex heli mount.
All of the cameras are fun to shoot with... but I was really impressed with the 5D Mark II. It was just really nice to have a camera that small producing such high quality video. Not to mention the great time lapses it produces. It's a great tool to add to the bag.
The full movie is out late Sept '09.

Definitely better forwards than backwards.
Is it just me or am I sensing a little Star Wars in there, haha.

You would be surprised what shots are from the HVX. We really got all we could out of that camera. And then there's the 5DMarkII that produces some very crisp images. But of course the RED is amazing.
Is that Heikki on your avatar? That was a fun day!
And it is Heikki, Ever since I saw this photo I've had it as a avatar on something. The shot is so sick! Did you take that particular shot or were you there?
But I'll say this for it. We definitely put them to the test. A lot of extreme in the field work that they dont usually get. And they worked great. Definitely impressed.
