This short film was created for my cinematography class at Andrews University. Throughout the course I learned the language of video: shooting styles, equipment, and how to use the Canon C-100 along with DSLRs. I do have a photography background, so there wasn't a huge learning curve, but I enjoyed every moment in the class. So please take the time to watch my first planned film. Mind you, the class wasn't focused so much on audio as cinematography. Constructive critique would be much appreciated!
Often those who are severely depressed don't speak about it, so no one knows until it's too late. The poem Alone by Emma Funnell explores the mind of a person dealing with depression. By combining it with video, I wanted to portray a young woman's suffering, juxtaposing the Lord's Prayer and her thoughts of suicide.
