Update: made one. Looks pretty cool. I printed it out on red card stock. Too bad it doesn't stand up very well :(

cool :) but a little brittle if you are using office/thin paper.

good for landscape mode but for portrait, it could be a little higher.
  •
  • Yeah, you should use a good 220-270 g/m paper sheet to have the best result. It isn't strong enough with office/thin paper. Good luck !

This is awesome. I saw it on Tumblr first, then I read it on some blog. Looks like it is getting a lot of buzz as well.
    Good one..

Finding the right paper is very hard. I made one with some 187g/m LTR paper stock and it was strong enough, barely, to hold an iPod Touch. The iPhone crushed it. You need 'Card'. Also, the US measure of 'lbs' does not translate directly. 20lb is about 75g/m, but 60lb is not 225g/m, so be sure and look at the metric which WILL be on the label.

i used oak tag, but glued two pieces of them together before folding/cutting. of course, the prefolds have to have a lot more of an indent, and the slits have to have a small amount of width, but it works really really well!
