Sunrise from Catbells
Another early start and another attempt at capturing a time lapse sequence of the morning mist and sunrise over Keswick and Derwentwater.
This time, I built on the lessons I'd learned from previous attempts and produced something I'm quite happy with.
I love that you get to see the sun coming up over the mountains on the right and I love the way the clouds in the sky start to form as the ground mist peters out!
Technical jibber jabber:
Tripod mounted Nikon D700 with 14-24 @ 14mm f/14. 999 exposures (why oh why is the D700 limited to just 999 exposures?) in 10 second intervals over 2.8 hours.
From 06:50 to 09:36 12/09/2009.
Elevation: 1,111 feet
