For the past 2 years or so, there have occasionally been long stretches of days or weeks where I barely leave the home studio during the day. My own fault. And when I don't get out much, I don't shoot much.
During those days when I'm so buried in production, I've found myself a few quick outlets for instant creative gratification - field recording and making these radial mandala things from my porch over cigarette breaks.
Now I've combined the two.
(P.S. - These recordings are layered, but largely untouched)
(P.S.S. - I used to live across the street from an American Indian cultural center in Chicago.)
