Timelapse of the RedFunnel ferry trip from Southampton to East Cowes Isle of Wight & the return journey in September 2009.
The other scenes were taken from East Cowes harbour, Ryde Pier, & the Spinnaker Tower at Portsmouth.
CHDK intervalometer scripts were used on a both Canon S5is & an A640 to make this movie, the outward trip using 1 shot every 5 seconds, the return using 1 shot per second.
Videomach was used thoughout to process the 3500 frames & put the video together.
Maybe I should have used The Beatles - 'Ticket to Ryde' as the soundtrack, but for some reason this Alan Price song seems to work very well.
