Mosi-oa-Tunya (Tokaleya Tonga: the Smoke that Thunders) or as named by David Livingston, the Scottish missionary and explorer, Victoria Falls is a waterfall in southern Africa on the Zambezi River at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The fall is claimed to be the largest based on a width of 5,604ft and height of 354ft forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world.
