Plum “You feat. Ben Phaze” music video was directed and animated by Jiamin Liu. The single is the first release from Plum’s first album “Different Skin” which debuted on October 19th 2009 on much loved Scottish cult label Benbecula Records.

The dark fairytale-like animation revolves around that familiar ache of unrequited love, and portrays Plum (aka Shona Maguire), wandering through her world in search of the one who has captured her heart. She falls into his world, and watches him from afar, but he is unaware of her existence. She dreams of him coming to her and holding her hand, but it is only in her head, and she is left alone in her longing. The animation uses layers of charcoal backgrounds, puppet-like animations of Plum and the shadow figure who has her attention, and bold colours to paint the beautiful tale.
