I'm currently working on a project "REAL?" which will questions the realities of photography.
A lot of people aspire to be like the models we see in the media, that girl (or guy?) with that perfect body and flawless skin, or the one with beautiful long locks and the gorgeous smile, or the other one with perfect long pins, or... I could go on and on and on BUT DONT WORRY I WONT! my point being that these images we see are not portraying the truth but in fact hiding it with the help of stylists, photographers and hours and hours of retouching.
Nowadays, it is no secret that images have been retouched and tampered with to show a perfect unachievable human being up on advertisements, but I find that most people (including myself) forget that this portrayed being is NOT REAL!
I will be working with as many people as possible to try and show that photography or more specifically the art of retouching in photography is a powerful tool that can produce a believable image that isn't real.
